Still Unusable

Loved this app, but it crashes almost immediately after opening it on my 5s. This update fixed nothing.

Disappointment

I am a model and cannot open my files needed for my job. This app is very hard to understand, even after reading through instructions on how to do things. Dont waste $5 on this undeveloped App.

Triple thumbs down. Too many problems to even list. Worst app I have ever gotten. I wish I could totally wipe it out of my purchased history.

Another security fail.

Tally-up another security fail for this development team. First, the app only allowed an 8 character maximum password for file encryption (fixed). Then, they built the app using a trojan version of XCode (also fixed). Now, theyve added the ability to password protect your files within WinZip. BUT... That password can only be 4 numbers (not more or less than 4, and no letters or special characters). My 10-year old nephew can crack that in an hour! At a minimum they should use a 6-digit PIN so my nephew would need a week instead of an hour. Better yet, also introduce an increasing time delay between incorrect guesses that resets every day. Then my nephew would need years to guess your PIN.

Crap

You should be in jail.

Thanks A Lot!!!

Your impatience to download the proper version of XCode from official Apple servers and thus installing a stupid, malware-infected, Chinese version of XCode, has put my security at risk!! I always thought of Winzip as a professional company that I could trust with my digital security and safety. Well, no more! If I experience any ill effects from this unethical, unprofessional, immature decision of yours, well, I will hold you responsible! Why didnt you put the thought of your users security first, before your own impatience? Even if you release a "safe" and possibly malware-free version of Winzip in the future. It just doesnt matter to me. Im no longer going to put my trust and security in your company and Ill never download/buy another one of your applications again. Im sensible enough to understand that you had no way of knowing that what you were downloading contained malware exploits in the code. But, I would think out of anyone, a supposedly professional developer would be smart enough to know that you cant trust anything programming-wise from the Chinese, let alone being foolish enough to download code from unofficial, non-Apple sources. That is just reckless and irresponsible with your own safety and your users safety and security. The least you could do is apologize in the description or the "Whats New" section of the App Store page. It speaks even more volumes about how unprofessional, unethical and immoral that you are, by the fact that you didnt do that. To Other Users - Make sure to delete any version of Winzip that you have installed on your devices, it was infected with malware and can put your safety and security at risk. And I would advise not downloading this app again, even if they claim its now "secure". Im extremely disappointed in this developer and they would have to go to immense lengths to gain my trust again, if thats even possible.

So far so good

Im not very tech savvy, and this app is very easy to navigate for me.

Since installing this app I have received nothing but harassment and spam

I install the app about a month and a half ago and have been receiving harassing emails that I have outstanding order invoices . This is untrue and even deleting the app has not put a stop to the troubling emails... I dont know if my information was sold or if this is related to identify thief.

Got Trojan horse

Very insecure for business users.
